Can you briefly introduce yourself?
I’m Gaurav Borkar, a technology strategist and software systems architect with over 15 years of experience working with international clients across product development and enterprise systems.

My focus lies at the intersection of business and technology — helping founders and organisations translate ideas into structured, scalable digital systems. Over the years, I’ve moved from hands-on development to building disciplined delivery models that align technical execution with business growth.

What kind of work activities do you perform as a developer?

While I began my journey as a hands-on developer, my role today extends far beyond writing code.

I work on system architecture design, MVP structuring, scalable admin systems, role-based workflows, and execution leadership. My involvement typically includes defining product roadmaps, aligning development processes with business goals, and ensuring long-term scalability rather than short-term feature delivery.

I believe development is not just about building software — it’s about building structured systems that support sustainable growth.

You started your own company called ‘Your Software Supplier – Borkar’. How did the first steps of building this company look?

The initial phase was about clarity and positioning.

Rather than operating as an individual freelancer, I wanted to build a structured delivery model that could support international clients with transparency, process discipline, and scalable execution.

The early steps involved defining delivery standards, building a reliable execution ecosystem in India, and creating partnerships that allowed global clients to work with structured teams instead of ad-hoc resources.

It was less about rapid expansion and more about building a strong foundation for long-term collaboration.

What are your ambitions for the future with your company?

The ambition is to build a globally trusted technology partner that bridges international businesses with structured execution capabilities.

In the future, I aim to expand the delivery model into scalable team structures, strengthen enterprise collaborations, and build long-term product partnerships rather than short-term project engagements.

The focus remains on sustainable growth, disciplined execution, and creating technology systems that truly enable business scalability.

What advice would you give software clients when building software?

The most important advice I give clients hookup: prioritize clarity before velocity.

Many projects fail not due to poor technical capability, but due to unclear scope, shifting objectives, and weak architectural foundations.

Investing time in structured planning, defining scalable workflows, and aligning development with business objectives significantly reduces technical debt and long-term cost.

Speed without structure leads to chaos. Structure enables speed.

How can you make companies more profitable with your knowledge, experience and network?

Profitability in software-driven businesses comes from efficiency, scalability, and operational clarity.

By designing structured systems, clean admin workflows, and scalable architectures, companies reduce inefficiencies, improve internal visibility, and accelerate execution cycles.

Additionally, through international collaboration models and disciplined delivery processes, I help organizations optimize development costs without compromising on quality — creating long-term financial leverage rather than short-term savings.
